Treatment that fits real life
We help you make sense of medical and dental coverage, so cost never stands between you and relief.
Medical vs. dental coverage
Oral appliance therapy for obstructive sleep apnea is frequently billed to medical insurance rather than dental, because it treats a medical condition. TMJ treatment may fall under medical or dental benefits depending on your plan. We accept most major medical and dental insurance and will help you sort out which applies.
A note on Medicare
For a Medicare-covered custom sleep appliance, the rules require an in-person clinical evaluation by a treating physician (MD, DO, NP, PA, or clinical nurse specialist) before the sleep test — a dentist cannot fill that role. We build that physician step into your pathway so coverage isn't jeopardized.
